How to Choose the Right Wedding Ring for You
Your wedding ring isn’t just a symbol of love and commitment, it's a piece of jewelry you’ll wear every day. It is essential to choose the one that suits your lifestyle.
Here are some thoughts to help you find a perfect wedding ring for your individual way of life.

Consider your daily activities. Think about your daily routine and activities you engage regularly. If you have an active lifestyle, you’ll want a durable ring that can withstand wear and tear. Opt for a metal like platinum, known for its strength and resilience. Keep in mind that metal like platinum might be more costly upfront,  however it often requires less maintenance and can last a lifetime.

Your profession can influence your choice of wedding ring. If you work with your hands or in a physical demanding job, consider a ring with rounded edges or a low profile to minimize the risk of catching or scratching.

NEW ROSE GOLD WEDDING RING AND ENGAGEMENT RING DESIGNS - STEVEN AND NADIYA'S RINGS
When Steven came to meet with Jelena to discuss the engagement ring, he knew he liked hand carving, but was not sure of the pattern that Nadiya, his future fiancée, would like. After Jelena asked Steven to list several of Nadiya's favorite things/hobbies to learn more about her and her taste, without hesitation  Steven said: "Red Tailed Hawk, she loves Red Tailed Hawk!" Immediately and without a doubt, this magestic bird's feather became the source inspiration for hand carving design of Nadiya's engagement ring.
The engagement ring design also features white gold four prong Jelena Behrend Studio setting. Wide white gold prongs are incorporated in the design to let the shine through to the round cut brilliant diamond and serve as a secure casing of  the center stone.
The  rose gold wedding band set was created to compliment the engagement ring and rose gold was used for the bands as well, in order to create a monochromatic look.

Hand-Carved Ring Stories
There are many ways to endow your wedding band with deep personal symbolism. The stones you choose, the metal, the finish – all this could speak for your feelings, sensibilities, and shared vision of the future. Jelena Behrend is always delighted to work on customizing rings to fashion them into magic objects, in which love stories and prefiguration of shared future are compressed into a work of art.
Carving initials or symbolic designs is yet another way to personalize your jewelry.
Here are the sample stories behind some of the rings that Jelena created in the past and named after the people who inspired them. She will be delighted to re-create the design or to adjust it to speak better to your love.

On Kristin’s request, Jelena incorporated the infinity sign into an organic ornament, to symbolize everlasting love that continuously renews and reinvents itself.
Another example of a floral hand-carved design are this beautiful pair of rings.  The noble bay-leaf pattern on them is borrowed from Greek mythology, where wreath of bay laurels were given to honor the highest artistic achievement.  It is also evocative of the verses of Ovid’s Metamorphoses, which describe the transformation of the beautiful nymph Daphne into a laurel tree that becomes a symbol of eternal Apollonian inspiration.
