"A place I love is my friend and colleague’s studio, Jelena Behrend Studio on the Lower East Side. Jelena is an artist and jeweler, and her studio is filled with art, hammers, fire, and metal. We have collaborated on several limited editions including sculptural vessels with Lisa Kirk and Justin Vivian Bond, and I wear her jewelry every day like armor."
