What do you do for a living?
i make very independent films, i love it... but i would not recommend it to anyone, Ha!
How did you find out about Jelena Behrend?
Many years ago her studio and my studio were in the same building [on Orchard Street in Lower East Side] and we bumped into each other.
What was your first encounter like, when you wore Jelena Behrend’s jewelry?
No comprendo!
What are your favorite places to wear Jelena’s jewelry?
Hand, neck & family members.
What pieces are your all time favorite, and why?
All the pieces I have are my fave
Do they bring you fortune, love, and protection?
All of the above and some times mayhem.
How does Jelena make the jewelry perfect for you?
She is the master let her do it she never fails.
Born in Soissons, France, Auder lives and works in Brooklyn New York. He has been teaching at the Yale School of Art since 2005. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; the Centre Pompidou, Paris; The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; dOCUMENTA (13); The Renaissance Society, Chicago; and Kusthalle, Basel. The most recent exhibition of his video works titled "Mixing Up the Medicine" is on view right now in Los Angeles, CA at Kayne Griffin Corcoran Gallery. In Europe he is represented by Office Baroque Gallery.
